BELGRADE, April 5 (Hina) - Yugoslav defence minister Pavle
Bulatovic said on Thursday his country would not extradite three
former Yugoslav army officers indicted by a UN war crimes tribunal.
The International Criminal Tribunal in The Hague issued an
international warrant two days ago for the arrest of Veselin
Slivancanin, Milo Mrksic and Miroslav Radic who had been indicted
for the mass-scale killing of wounded people in a hospital in the
eastern Croatian town of Vukovar.
Bulatovic was quoted by the Belgrade-based "Dnevni Telegraf"
newspaper on Friday as saying during his visit to a Yugoslav army
corps in the northern city of Novi Sad on Thursday that the
extradition of the three men would be in violation of the Yugoslav
constitution.
