FERRY ON SAVA BY MID APRIL

JASENOVAC, March 31 (Hina) - Works have begun in Jasenovac (130 km SE of Zagreb) for the construction of an access area for a raft-ferry on the river Sava, Jasenovac authorities reported on Sunday. The ferry is essential for transportation of people as well as the desperately needed building material to villages on the right bank of the river. The works are a joint effort of the Croatian Army, Croatian Water Management and Croatian Roads Company. Jasenovac Mayor Ivan Filipovic estimated works on both river banks would be completed by mid of April and gradually enable the infrastructure repairs.
