PULA, March 29 (Hina) - Minister of the Interior, Ivan Jarnjak,
today shared with the press new insights in the murder case that
shook Istria on Wednesday - the shooting of former Croatian Tourism
Minister, Anton Marcelo Popovic, on his own doorstep.
The police had completed the scene-of-crime investigation and
interrogated 38 people, of whom one was tested with the aid of a
polygraph, Jarnjak said. Police artists were preparing an identikit
picture.
"In the interests of investigation, we cannot disclose all the
details. We know much more than yesterday and we think we are much
closer to the perpetrator," Jarnjak said.
