ZAGREB, March 27 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman on
Wednesday received a delegation of the "Intercontinental" chain
of hotels including President John Wright, Vice President Tom
Krooswijk and the managing director of the "Intercontinental"
Hotel in Zagreb, Zlatko Novak, a statement from the President's
Office said.
The talks focused on the widening of activities, on further
investments in the "Intercontinental" chain in Croatia, as well
as on the development of tourism on the highest level - from the
Brijuni National Park in Istria to Dubrovnik.
The delegation expressed their conviction that Croatia had a
brilliant future in the field of tourism because it was a country
which had an invaluable natural, historic and cultural heritage.
President Tudjman expressed his full support for the success of
further cooperation with the "Intercontinental" hotel chain.
Present at the talks were also the head of the President's
Cabinet, Gordan Radin, and the head of the State Protocol, Ivan
Misetic, the statement said.
