Presenting the book to Tudjman, Ivan Simonovic said that the
book focuses on the current relations between Croatia and the UN,

Organization at the time when Croatia was not an independent
country.
Tudjman congratulated the editors, stressing that Croatians
had made contributions to the world diplomacy even before the
establishment of the UN Organization, from times of medieval
Croatia. They also contributed through work in the diplomacy of
countries where Croatians had lived through history.
Present at the meeting were also the President's Chief-of-
Staff, Ivo Sanader, the President's Advisor, Andjelko Mijatovic,
and the Croatian representative to the UN in New York, Mario
