CROATIA AND ICTY
ZAGREB, Feb 27 (Hina) - At today's session, the Croatian Parliament
Committee for Legislation and the Committee for Judiciary accepted
in principle the Government Bill on cooperation between Croatia and
the International Criminal Court in The Hague.
Members of the two committees demanded, however, that the
Government demand that a regulation of the Statute of the
International Court be changed so that the perpetrators who are
under the jurisdiction of The Hague Court could be sentenced
according to sentences which are provided for in the countries in
which they had committed criminal acts.
