VITEZ/BUGOJNO, central Bosnia, Feb 25 (Hina) - An aide to the
Bosnian appointed international high representative Carl Bildt
urged the Bosniac (Moslem) authorities in the central Bosnian town
of Bugojno for a better treatment of Croat citizens.
The official, Christian Clages, urged the Bosniac mayor of
Bugojno, Dzevad Mlaco, to stop "abusing the citizens and destroying
their property," adding that the abuses had been witnessed not only
by local Croats but also by the federal commissioner (ombudsman).
"You have still not fulfilled your assignment, stipulated in
the Dayton agreement, to organize the return of the 200 Croat
families to Bugojno," Clages said in a letter forwarded to the
mayor.
