ZAGREB, Feb 16 (Hina) - Croatian parliamentarians, led by MP
Bosiljko Misetic, today met representatives of the European
Association of Judges and State Attorneys (MEDEL) to discuss the
situation in the Croatian judiciary.
The process of adaptation to political changes has not been
completed, particularly with regard to the independence of the
judiciary power, Misetic said, adding a restructuring of the
judiciary was underway.
European judges voiced their understanding for the work of the
Croatian judiciary in war circumstances.
President of the Prague High Court, Antonin Mokry, said that
Croatia "had made a progress in judicial protection."
