SARAJEVO, Feb 1 (Hina) - The Temporary Commission for Supervision
of Elections in Bosnia-Herzegovina, whose members were named by the
Organisation on Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), today
held their first meeting in Sarajevo.
The head of the Commission and head of the OSCE mission in
Bosnia-Herzegovina, Robert Frowick, said that the forthcoming
elections should first of all express the real will of the people
living in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
The meeting was also attended by the representatives of both
Bosnian entities, representatives of the central Bosnian Government
and Carl Bildt.
According to the peace agreement, election of bodies of
authority in the two entities and the state of Bosnia-Herzegovina
should be held until the end of September this year at the latest.
