BELGRADE, Jan 26 (Hina) - The Croatian and Yugoslav government
commissions for missing persons concluded two-day talks in
Belgrade on Friday.
The meeting was held in line with an agreement between
Foreign Ministers Mate Granic of Croatia and Milan Milutinovic
of the Yugoslav federation of Serbia and Montenegro.
The two sides agreed to solve "a certain number of
concrete cases as soon as possbile," a joint statement from
the meeting said.
They agreed that they would sign a protocol to regulate
mutual relations, commitments and joint activities.
The protocol would bind the commissions to exchange all
available data on people being traced in their respective
countries and to release those people.
The two sides agreed to "unconditionally deliver all
mortal remains demanded by either party and to provide
information on the identification of persons killed in the
war," the statement said.
The two commissions agreed to intensify their contacts
and to hold the next meeting in Zagreb within two weeks, said
the statement signed by Croatian commission chairman Major
Ivan Grujic and Yugoslav commission secretary Maksim Korac.
