STRASBOURG, Jan 24 (Hina) - Croatian Foreign Minister Mate Granic
left Strasbourg on Wednesday after a two-day visit during which
he had held talks with a number of Council of Europe officials.
Before departure, Granic told reporters that had informed
Council of Europe and Parliamentary Assembly officials about
Croatia's efforts to meet all conditions set by the Council of
Europe.
"I don't think there will be any more major obstacles to
Croatia's admission to the Council of Europe," he said.
Granic met Council of Europe secretary general Daniel
Tarschys, former Parliamentary Assembly chairman Miguel Angel
Martinez and his successor Leni Fischer, OSCE chairman and Swiss
Foreign Minister Flavio Cotti, and Ministerial Committee chairman
