MOSTAR, Jan 23 (Hina) - The head of Herzeg-Bosnia's office for
relations with the NATO-led peace Implementation Force (IFOR),
Slobodan Bozic, on Tuesday sent a letter to the head of the
International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) office for Bosnia-
Herzegovina, Beato Schweizer, protesting that "the Serb side still
has not released a single prisoner of Croatian nationality."
"Since the exchange of prisoners of war should be conducted
under the supervision of the ICRC and IFOR, which also monitors the
implementation of provisions of the Dayton agreement, and in this
case you did not show a necessary interest, we protest most
vehemently and demand that you exert influence on the Serb side to
comply with the agreement," Bozic wrote.
He informed Schweizer of obligations the Bosnian Croat side
had fulfilled concerning the exchange of Serb detainees.
