VIENNA, Jan 23 (Hina) - Croatian Finance Minister Bozo Prka held a speech on results of the Croatian stabilisation program on the first day of the conference on investment into central and eastern Europe, which started today in Vienna
and will last until tomorrow. The conference is being held under the auspices of the financial magazine 'Euromoney'.

VIENNA, Jan 23 (Hina) - Croatian Finance Minister Bozo Prka held a
speech on results of the Croatian stabilisation program on the
first day of the conference on investment into central and eastern
Europe, which started today in Vienna and will last until tomorrow.
The conference is being held under the auspices of the financial

'Croatia really needs foreign investments now because its
companies have obsolete technology. The privatisation of public
companies and the reorganisation of the pension scheme are to
follow', Prka said. He also informed participants in the conference
about the establishment of the new legal framework for the Croatian
capital market, as well as about Croatia's cooperation with
international financial institutions.
The invitation to attend the conference which is being held in
the Intercontinental Hotel in Vienna was answered by some 500
participants. Two thirds of them come from oversee countries,
organizers said.
