Ambassador Danielsson conveyed to Sanader his congratulations
to President Tudjman on the successful visit of President Clinton
to Croatia, stressing the great international importance of the
meeting between the two statesmen.
Sanader informed the Swedish ambassador about the talks with
the U.S. delegation as well as about the steps aimed at the
peaceful reintegration of the region of eastern Slavonia into the
Croatian constitutional and legal system.
Today's talks also tackled the normalisation of relations
between Croatia and the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and the
establishment of institutions of the Federation of Bosnia-
Herzegovina and its cooperation with Croatia.
