Solana, accompanied by NATO European commander General George
Joulwan, will have separate talks with Croatian President Franjo
Tudjman and the U.N. Secretary General's special envoy Kofi Annan,
the spokesman said in Zagreb.
Annan was also scheduled to visit the Macedonian capital of
Skopje on Wednesday, where he would meet President Kiro Gligorov.
It would be Gligorov's first meeting with an international
diplomat after an assassination attempt last October.
