ZAGREB, Jan 4 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman and senior
government officials on Thursday evening returned to Zagreb from
Sarajevo where they had discussed the functioning of the Moslem-
Croat federation with Bosnian government representatives.
Upon arrival at Zagreb airport, Tudjman told reporters that
the first session of the Joint Cooperation Council that was
established today was a big step in the efficient implementation of
the Washington and Dayton accords.
"We have discussed a lot of issues with a clear indication
that all open issues should be solved from the position of creating
confidence between the Croatian and Bosniac Moslem people because
it is in the mutual interest of the Croatian state and the Croatian
people as a whole and the Bosniac Moslem people and the Federation
of Bosnia-Herzegovina," Tudjman said.
