BELI MANASTIR, 21 Dec (Hina) - After six years, the Croatian Forest
Management from Osijek on Saturday organised the first hunt in
Tikves preserve in the region of Baranja.
A group of Austrian hunters, accompanied by Croatian hunters,
hunted for boars in the forest Luduc.
Stefan Ninaus, director of the Austrian Tourist Agency 'Ninaus',
who organised the visit of Austrian hunters, expressed
satisfaction with the organisation of the hunting and
accommodation.
He also expressed satisfaction with the beauty of the region and the
plenitude of wild animals.
Pavle Vrataric, head of the Forest Management in Osijek, stressed
that the first hunt in Baranja, organised for foreigners, was
important because it was the best proof that the security situation
was good.
The process of revival of forest and hunting economy in Baranja had
started with the reintegration of the Croatian Forest Management,
said Vrataric.
