THE HAGUE, Dec 19 (Hina) - Three Bosnian Croat war crimes suspects
are expected to be released from custody on Friday evening after the
International Criminal Tribunal in The Hague had decided to let
them go due to lack of evidence.
Marinko Katava, Pero Skopljak and Ivan Santic would receive
official documents confirming the withdrawal of the indictments
and their release from detention.
In consultation with Dutch authorities, Croatian diplomats in The
Hague will take over responsibility for the three men, after which
they will be issued visas or temporary documents for residence on
Dutch territory until their departure on Saturday.
It is expected that the three men will travel to Zagreb on a regular
Croatia Airlines flight.
