ZAGREB, Dec 12 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman received
Slovenian Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek on Friday, the President's
Office said in a statement.
Relaying to President Tudjman greetings from Slovenian President
Milan Kucan, Drnovsek said that Slovenia would support speedier
admission of Croatia to the Central European Free Trade Agreement
(CEFTA) and other organisations.
Participants in the talks expressed satisfaction that there was
good will on both sides to solve the remaining outstanding issues in
a satisfactory manner.
The Croatian officials attending the meeting included Presidential
Chief of Staff Hrvoje Sarinic, Foreign Minister Mate Granic,
Presidential Foreign Policy Adviser Neven Madey and Ambassador to
Slovenia Ivica Mastruko.
Drnovsek was accompanied by Foreign Minister Boris Frlec and
Ambassador to Croatia Matija Malecic, the statement concluded.
