ZAGREB/NAPLES, Dec 5 (Hina) - The World Heritage Committee of the
United Nations Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organisation
(UNESCO) held a session in Naples on Thursday, at which it decided
on placing 46 new localities on the World Heritage list.
Placed on the list were the Croatia's Episcopal complex of the
Euphracy Basilica in Porec and the historic centre of the city of
Trogir.
The Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Friday that the
Committee had also agreed to remove Croatia's Plitvicka Jezera
national park from the list of endangered world heritage locations
The World Cultural Heritage list also includes Croatia's cities of
Dubrovnik and Split, as well as the Plitvicka Jezera national
park.
