OSIJEK, Nov 18 (Hina) - The Osijek-Baranja County Prefect, Anica
Horvat, on Tuesday received the chief of the Organisation for
Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in Croatia, Tim
Guldimann, and associates.
Speaking about the situation in the county, Horvat stressed that
43.6 percent of the county was still administered by the UN, adding
that this aggravated the application of Croatian laws and
regulations in the region.
"We are doing everything to implement what the government agreed
on, so the peaceful reintegration could be completed," Horvat
said.
Guldimann stressed that the OSCE mandate differed from the UNTAES
mandate, adding that its primary goal was to reintegrate Croatia
into the world.
He recalled that Croatia was one of 55 member countries of the OSCE,
adding that the members of the Organisation had come to ascertain
how to provide concrete help in the process of reintegration.
