MOSTAR, Nov 17 (Hina) - The founding sessions of Mostar's six
municipalities announced for 18 November have temporarily been
postponed, David Foley, head of the Mostar regional office of the
Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, said in a
statement on Monday.
It is possible that the sessions will be held on 19 November, Foley
said, adding this should be confirmed tomorrow.
Talks on implementing municipal election results in the six
municipalities of Mostar are in course, the statement said.
This was the third postponement of the municipalities' founding
sessions. Initially, they were to be held by 10 November, following
the one-month period required to technically confirm the election
results, as envisaged by OSCE rules for the establishment of newly-
elected authorities.
After the first postponement, the OSCE suggested that the founding
sessions take place by 13 November, and then by 18 November.
