ZAGREB, Nov 10 (Hina) - The Croatian and Hungarian chambers of
crafts signed an agreement on cooperation in Zagreb on Monday.
The agreement includes cooperation in economy, the exchange of
information about cooperation in foreign trade, fairs and
exhibitions.
The president of the Croatian chamber of crafts (HOK), Josip
Sajnovic, voiced hope that the deal would contribute to the further
strengthening of the relations between Croatian and Hungarian
craftsmen.
Sajnovic added that the HOK had already signed such agreements with
Slovenian and Bavarian chambers of crafts which produced good
results.
He added that the HOK was expecting the conclusion of such treaties
with Austrian and Italian chambers of crafts.
The president of the Hungarian chamber of crafts, Tibor Szabo, said
that Hungarian craftsmen were expecting much from the agreement,
and pointed to the importance of the agreement for cooperation in
tourism and the education of craftsmen.
