VINKOVCI, Nov 2 (Hina) - About 4,500 displaced persons visited
cemeteries in the UN-administered area of Vukovar County on All
Saints' Day on Saturday, the regional office for displaced persons
and refugees in Vinkovci said in a statement on Sunday.
The office thanked "the displaced persons for their dignified
behaviour, the Vukovar police department for their professionalism
as well as UNTAES and all others who helped in ensuring that
everything passed off with dignity and in safety."
More than 2,000 displaced persons travelled to eleven villages in
an organised way while another 2,500 used regular transport, the
statement said.
