CROATIAN STATE ATTORNEY OPENS OFFICE IN VUKOVAR

( Vidi vijest: 6112 ) VUKOVAR, Oct 27 (Hina) - Croatian State Attorney Petar Sale on Monday opened the Vukovar-Srijem County State Attorney's Office in Vukovar. The State Attorney's Office of the Vukovar-Srijem County would have a difficult and, for Croatia, very important task of protecting the property and rights of the Croatian state in the region, Sale stressed, adding that the Office would advocate the complete protection of Croatian state's rights, but without violating the rights of the citizen. State's property had to be registered first, Sale said, adding that a special task of the State Attorney's Office in this county would be the protection and takeover of state-owned agricultural land. Present at the opening ceremony were Justice Minister Miroslav Separovic, State Attorney of the city of Zagreb, Ivica Kujundzic, Vukovar-Srijem County Prefect Rudolf Koenig, Vukovar's Mayor Vladimir Stengl, UNTAES representatives and Vukovar-Srijem County State Attorney, Dubravko Kranjcevic.
