ZAGREB, Oct 24 (Hina) - Croatian Deputy Foreign Minister Ivo
Sanader on Friday held talks with German officials during his
second day of visit to Germany.
German Chancellor's advisor for foreign affairs, Joachim
Bitterlich, political director at the German Foreign Ministry,
Wolfgang Ischinger, and spokesman for the CDU/CSU at the German
Parliament, Karl Lames spoke with Sanader about the completion of
the UNTAES mandate in Croatia on 15 January next year, the situation
in Bosnia-Herzegovina, and political and security situation in the
wider region.
Both sides expressed interest in further development of bilateral
relations.
The German officials hailed the Croatian government's measures
towards the successful completion of the UNTAES mandate,
implementation of Washington and Dayton agreements and the
normalisation of relations between Croatia and Yugoslavia.
