ZAGREB, Oct 20 (Hina) - Croatia and Turkey are satisfied with
their military cooperation, the chiefs-of staff of the Croatian
and Turkish armies, Lt. Gen. Pavao Miljavac and Gen. Ismail
Karadayi, told reporters on Monday after a meeting of delegations
of the two armies' headquarters.
Karadayi is on a three-day visit to Croatia at the
invitation of Croatian Defense Minister Gojko Susak.
Military cooperation achieved to date was at an enviable
level, Miljavac said, pointing out the cooperation must continue
to be intensified in all segments.
Our aim is to develop a cooperation which will serve peace
in the region, said Turkey's Karadayi.
Croatia has a very valuable and important infrastructure,
and a powerful army, he said, adding Croatia could count on
friends like Turkey.
