ZAGREB, Oct 17 (Hina) - Croatian Deputy Defence Minister Lt. Gen.
Kresimir Cosic on Friday received the incoming Bulgarian
Ambassador to Croatia, Veliz Encev, accompanied by the Bulgarian
military envoy to Croatia, Frigate Captain Goergi Georgiev, a
Defence Ministry statement said.
Present at the talks were VIP Office deputy president,
Staff Brigadier Rajko Dumancic, and head of the Protocol
Department Maj. Drzislav Tadic.
Cosic recalled very good relations between Bulgaria and
Croatia, and proposed their promotion through important and more
active roles in the establishment of security and cooperation in
Europe.
Stressing friendly relations between the two countries,
Encev suggested that Bulgaria be included in the demining
programme in Vukovar, the statement said.
