DRVAR, 9 Oct (Hina) - The agreement reached yesterday between
representatives of the international community in Bosnia-
Herzegovina and local authorities in Drvar was not respected by
the Stabilisation Force which refused to remove check-points
outside the village of Martin Brod in Drvar municipality on
Thursday, Drvar police superintendent Ivan Jurcevic said.
According to Jurcevic, displaced Croats, accommodated in
Martin Brod, were without food for the third day, while Serb
returnees in the village were being regularly supplied with food
by SFOR members.
Today's attempt of Drvar bishop and Red Cross members to
bring food to displaced Croats was unsuccessful because
barricades had been put up outside Martin Brod and SFOR patrols
were controlling all roads leading to the village, Jurcevic said.
SFOR units had also searched members of Drvar police
administration at the checkpoints outside Martin Brod, he added.
