MOSTAR, Oct 9 (Hina) - Mostar's Mayor Ivan Prskalo, deputy Mayor
Safet Orucevic and head of the regional office of the international
community high representative in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Martin Garrod,
held talks in Mostar on Thursday.
After the meeting, Prskalo and Orucevic said they were
satisfied with the calming of the situation in Mostar after the
incident of 18 September when a car-bomb exploded in the town.
Prskalo announced that European Union Commissioner for foreign
policy issues, Hans van den Broek, would visit Mostar on 28 October
to obtain insight into the work of the Mostar town administration.
He added that he expected a lot from the visit and expressed
confidence that van den Broek would endorse the reconstruction of
Mostar at the European Union.
