TOMISLAVGRAD, Sept 25 (Hina) - An explosion shook the centre of
Tomislavgrad, a Croat-held town in Bosnia-Herzegovina 75 km
north-west of Mostar, around 01.40 hours on Thursday.
The blast caused damage to a mosque and demolished an
adjoining building which housed a library, a classroom, a morgue,
an office of the Islamic Community and a bathroom, as well as
shattering windows on nearby buildings, judge Sanja Kraljevic
said on Thursday after an on-the-spot investigation, in which she
was joined by local police, representatives of the NATO-led
Stabilization Force and the International Police Task Force.
Pyrotechnists from the nearby town of Livno were unable to
determine the type and quantity of the explosive, so experts from
Mostar were called.
An investigation is in course.
