MOSTAR, Sept 15 (Hina) - According to unofficial results of Bosnia
local elections, held on 13 and 14 September, the Croatian
Democratic Union (HDZ BiH) has won elections in most of
municipalities where the party had its candidates, a leader of the
major Bosnian Croat party, Jadranko Prlic, has said.
On Monday, Prlic said that these unofficial results did not
include returns from absentee ballots.
He described the party's success as a success beyond
expectations.
Prlic cited that the main flaw of the municipal
elections was the old organisation of the communal system, and
claimed 67,000 people were denied the right to vote due to the
Croat-Moslem Federal parliament's failure to adopt a bill on
reorganisation of municipalities.
