TUZLA, Sept 13 (Hina) - Two people were hurt in an explosion of a
mine in the village of Hajvazi near Kalesija, eastern Bosnia, on
Saturday afternoon. The mine went off in a separation zone between
the two Bosnian entities.
One of the wounded people is believed to have died of
injuries, a spokesman for the international police (IPTF) has said.
The spokesman Andrea Angeli said last night that victims were
wood-cutters, probably of the Serb ethnic origin.
After the accident the wounded were taken to hospital in the
Serb entity.
Angeli said that Saturday's accident had no links with
elections in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
