ZADAR, Aug 27 (Hina) - The remains of an old man who went missing
during the Serb occupation were discovered in the village of
Polaca near Benkovac, southern Croatia, on Tuesday.
In 1991, after the Serbs occupied Polaca, the village's
resident Zoran Kulas, born 1916, went missing without a trace.
His fate remained unknown until recently, when a Serb returnee
informed the missing man's son that his father was killed by Serb
rebels, who later buried him on a filed near Polaca.
The son then searched for the remains of his father.
An investigation is in course, the Zadar County police
said.
