SARAJEVO, Aug 12 (Hina) - The Bosnian Serb Constitutional Court
began a session in Pale on Tuesday to discuss a decision by
President Biljana Plavsic on dissolving the parliament and
calling parliamentary elections in the Serb entity of Bosnia-
Herzegovina.
Plavsic did not attend the session and was represented by
lawyer Milan Trbojevic, who said that the Constitutional Court
should not have allowed itself to be dragged into a political
conflict.
Trbojevic described the government's demand for evaluation
of the constitutionality of Plavsic's acts as illegal.
The government and parliament, which challenged the
constitutionality of Plavsic's decision, were represented by
member of the government Radomir Lukic.
After hearing the representatives of the two parties, the
seven judges of the Constitutional Court would pass a ruling by a
vote behind closed doors.
