ZAGREB, July 4 (Hina) - The British frigate Northumberland, one of
NATO's Standing Naval Force Mediterranean ships, which is deployed in
the Adriatic in support of the Stabilisation Force (SFOR) is to visit
Dubrovnik from 4 to 7 July.
The prime aim of the visit is to allow the NATO naval force to know
and become known in this important port in the Mediterranean and to
establish friendly contacts between NATO and Croatia, the Stabilisation
Force said in a statement on Friday.
"A cultural and social programme will allow members if the crew to
visit and enjoy some of the highlights of Dubrovnik and to establish
friendly relations between the crew and the city," the statement said.
The ship will be open to the public on Sunday afternoon.
