VUKOVAR, July 10 (Hina) - A Pakistani and a Jordanian UNTAES battalion, as well as an Argentinean UNTAES unit on Thursday ceased their operations and have begun preparations to leave the UN Transitional Administration area, spokesman

He added that the official withdrawing ceremony would take place in
Klisa, near Osijek, on 15 July.
In the period from 15 July to the end of August, 2,200 UNTAES
soldiers are to withdraw from the Danube river region, Arnold said,
adding that the UN security Council was expected to reach a decision
about a further UN mandate in The Danubian area next week.
