OSIJEK, June 25 (Hina) - Heads of the Croatian municipalities of Laslovo
and Ernestinovo (controlled by UNTAES), on Wednesday sent a letter to UN
Transitional Administrator, Jacques Klein, after a June 17 tragic
accident when nine persons were injured in the blast of an anti-tank
mine near the Laslovo cemetery.
In the letter, they posed a question how come the mine was then on
the road to the cemetery along which people walk as well.
Until that event, four funerals had been organised at the cemetery
of the village, and a Mass held on All Saint's Day, when no incident
happened, representatives of Laslovo and Ernestinovo added in the
letter.
