ZAGREB, June 22 (Hina) - On occasion of Croatia's Day of Antifascist
Struggle, delegations of the Parliament, the Government and the city of
Zagreb, on Sunday laid wreaths at the Altar of Homeland on Medvednica
overlooking the capital.
Vlatko Pavletic, the Parliament President led the parliamentary
delegation that consisted of a Parliament Vice President Drazen Budisa,
a House of Counties Vice President, Ivan Aralica, and MPs Franjo
Greguric, Anton Vujic and Petar Zitnik.
Pavletic signed the book of comments and wrote that on the
anniversary of the antifascist rebellion in Croatia, the parliamentary
delegation placed a wreath.
The government delegation consisted of a Vice Premier, Borislav
Skegro, Justice Minister Miroslav Separovic and Labour and Social
Welfare Minister Joso Skara.
On this occasion, Skegro wrote in the book of comments that
antifascism was an important element incorporated into the foundation of
the modern Croatian State.
"The government delegation laid a wreath in memory of all who gave
their lives in the struggle for the sovereign and independent Republic
of Croatia," Skegro added.
