LOVRAN, June 18 (Hina) - A three-day seminar on strategic planning in
banks began in the northern Adriatic town of Lovran on Wednesday,
bringing together presidents and members of the managing boards of banks
and savings banks, financial sector managers and other financial
experts.
The seminar has been organised by the Croatian Banking and
Investment Institute in cooperation with the US agencies USAID and
Financial Services Volunteer Corps.
US financial experts will deliver lectures on the process of
setting long-term targets and directions of development, the selection
and planning of activities and the allocation of funds for their
implementation.
The Croatian Banking and Investment Institute is also planning to
organise seminars on the management of financial institutions, bank
operations, capital market and other topics as part of its programme of
education of top managers.
