ZAGREB, June 14 (Hina) - A high Macedonian delegation, headed by Vice
Premier Zlatka Popovska and Culture Minister Slobodan Unkovski, on
Saturday visited Zagreb, the Croatian Culture Ministry said in a
statement.
Upon receiving the guests at Zagreb's airport, Croatian Culture
Minister Bozo Biskupic expressed satisfaction with the visit and the
overall political, economic and especially cultural relations between
the two countries. He hoped that Croatia and Macedonia, two sovereign
and independent states, would continue to develop such good relations.
Macedonia's vice premier hoped she would visit Croatia more often
and expressed interest for a more successful and better economic
cooperation.
Croatia's culture minister invited his Macedonian counterpart to
attend the opening of a summer festival in the south Croatian port of
Dubrovnik. Unkovski accepted.
As part of the visit to Croatia, the Macedonian delegation also
visited a museum and a gallery in Velika Gorica, near Zagreb, which
hosts an exhibition by Croatian artist Josip Boteri Dini, the statement
by the Croatian Culture Ministry concluded.
