ZAGREB, June 11 (Hina) - Croatian President Tudjman's chief-of-staff and
the 'INA' (Croatian oil company) supervisory board's president, Hrvoje
Sarinic, on Wednesday received a delegation of a Chinese oil company
'Sinochem', led by its president Zheng Dunxun.
According to an official statement, the talks revolved round the
furtherance of good business cooperation the two companies have
established in the recent years.
Sarinic thanked the Sinochem's president for help the during the
war when the Chinese company was the main supplier of crude oil for the
INA. The two companies now turned to developing new relations and
business cooperation, Sarinic said.
The Chinese company voiced wish to buy fertilisers from Kutina and
to conclude an agreement on purchase of several thousand tractors from
Croatia.
The Sinochem's president invited Sarinic to visit China, and the
Croatian official accepted the invitation with pleasure.
