ZAGREB, June 5 (Hina) - The Croatian Government's information office, on
Thursday presented web pages of the Government, and Premier Matesa
opened its re-designed Internet site before government ministers and
journalists. Matesa stressed the importance of this way of Croatia's
promotion.
"During the times that were not easy both for the Government and
the Republic of Croatia, we were on the Internet thanks to the Croatian
university net or CARNet," the Premier recalled.
He thanked the information office for the successful re-design of
the Government's Internet pages and announced that the office was
preparing a special bulletin of a survey of the Government's activities.
The information office's representatives said that the Government
had had its site on the Internet for two years and now it had been
'refreshed' and re-designed.
These web pages, made by help of the CARNet and Electrical
Engineering Faculty, are led and maintained by the information office.
The Government is presented in six chapters on them - the Government
bodies, its members, activities and statements, documents, special
projects and links.
