ZAGREB, March 17 (Hina) - A Croatian investment Promotion Agency
(HAPU), on Monday presented two publications important for foreign
investors. One publication shows a survey of Croatian laws
referring to investment, whereas the other gives basic economic
data expected this year.
The publications' editor, Branko Vukmir, said Croatia had been
no longer a transition country as regards the legal framework, as
its legal system had been complementary to European developed
countries' systems.
Croatian Economy Minister Davor Stern said he was expecting
that foreign investments would be higher this year than in 1996
when they amounted to US$ 280 million dollars.
