MOSTAR, March 13 (Hina) - The Herzegovina Canton Interior Ministry
on Thursday issued a statement saying that the "Mostar police
criminology department, using all available sources, reports of the
IPTF special commission, video recordings, photographs, statements
of witnesses and other material evidence, completed the
investigation procedure into events in the Mostar's Knez Mihajlo
Viscevic Street of 10 February".
Based on results of the investigation procedure, the Mostar
police filed charges against eleven Bosniacs (Moslems), among which
are Deputy Mayor of Mostar, Safet Orucevic, and deputy canton
Interior Minister, Sefkija Dziho.
Five Mostar Croats, among which several are officials in the
Mostar police, were charged with taking part in maltreatment while
on duty.
The Interior Ministry ended a disciplinary action against four
employees of the Mostar police for transgressing their authority in
the line of duty.
Also, the Interior Ministry initiated the procedure of
replacing the deputy interior Minister, Sefkija Dziho, the
statement said, Bosnian Croat news agency, Habena, said.
