SPLIT, March 6 (Hina) - Experts of the Frankfurt-based German Reconstruction
and Development Bank and Croatian economy, banking and science
representatives on Thursday held talks about investments and German help
with the restructuring of the economy in central Dalmatia, via the newly-
established Technology Centre in split.
Presiding the meeting was the Split County prefect, Kruno Peronja.
Director of the German Reconstruction and Development Bank's Economy
Research Department, Axel Radu, pointed out the possibility of expanding the
Technology Centre into the Croatian-German business park, in which German
companies would be engaged.
Croatian Privatization Fund's Josko Ivancic said the Fund accepted the
idea about expanding the Technology Centre into a business park, adding that
six locations in the Split County, from 10 to 58 thousand squares of
business facilities had been prepared for the needs of the park.
