ZAGREB, March 3 (Hina) - The Croatian government on Monday denied press reports+
that
certain government ministries were leading independent policy towards the +
international
war crimes tribunal in The Hague.
"Claims that some ministries are leading different policy towards the Hague +
Tribunal
than that of the Government of the Republic of Croatia are unfounded," the +
government
public relations office said in a statement.
It said that Croatia had passed a constitutional law mandating the government +
to
conduct cooperation activities with the tribunal.
"In line with that law, the Government established the Office for Cooperation +
with the
International Criminal Tribunal. The Office and its Advisory Board conduct the +
uniform
policy of the Government in its relations with the Tribunal," the statement +
said.
