SINJ, 1 Feb (Hina) - Representatives of the World Bank, Croatian Agriculture and Forestry Ministry and Split County Advisory Agricultural Service on Saturday visited the municipal leadership of Sinj and discussed ways of use of loans
the World Bank has granted for the purchase of breeding heifers and the organization of family farms in the Cetina river region.

Agricultural Service on Saturday visited the municipal leadership
of Sinj and discussed ways of use of loans the World Bank has
granted for the purchase of breeding heifers and the organization
of family farms in the Cetina river region. #L#
After the meeting, they visited some of 50 households which
have been allocated 190 breeding heifers purchased with the World
Bank loans.
Local officials said they hoped that both the World Bank and
the state would invest more in food production in the area, which
would also decrease the number of more that 4,000 unemployed in the
Cetina river region.
