BOROVO NASELJE, Feb 12 (Hina) - Croatian Social Liberal Party (HSLS) leaders
Vlado Gotovac and Zlatko Kramaric visited the UN-administered eastern town
of Borovo Naselje on Wednesday where they met UN administration official Dos
Santos and Serb representative Vojislav Stanimirovic for talks on upcoming
local elections.
Gotovac said that they had arrived to examine ways of participating in
the local elections set for April 13.
Kramaric stressed that all citizens of Croatia had the same rights and
obligations.
Asked by a Serb reporter whether he, as mayor of Osijek, could
guarantee him a safe return to that town, Kramaric said that it was up to
him and added that there were about 10,000 Serbs living in Osijek.
