ZAGREB, Feb 18 (Hina) - The Croatian Parliament House of Counties' Committee
for Justice, Elections and Appointments, held the appeal of Krunislav Olujic
against the decision of the State Judicial Council about his relief of
duties as president of the Croatian Supreme Court as unsubstantiated.
With most votes for, the Committee adopted the draft decision by which
the decision of the State Judicial Council was confirmed, because it held
that the Council had justly and fully established the factual situation and
applied the law rightly.
According to the draft decision, which is to be discussed by the House
of Counties at a session on Wednesday, 19 February, Olujic's duty at the
State Judicial Council is to cease.
